As we approach census on June 30 – where we count the number of young people benefitting from the fantastic programs you, our wonderful Leaders, run week in and week out – we also have an opportunity to provide financial support that lasts forever. We all know Scouting changes lives - to continually improve and share the Scouting experience, we continually need to raise more funds. So, in addition to our loyal membership and tireless fundraising by Groups, we’re encouraging donations.
A tax deductible donation to The Victorian Scout Foundation will help to grow initiatives like support for Leader training, the opening of brand new Groups, hall refurbishment funds and provide the prizes for our Groups’ major fundraiser, The Monster Raffle. You may be aware that donations to the Foundation are preserved as capital funds – they are invested to produce income that supports our Groups.
