Youth members and Leaders are encouraged to gain First Aid skills and qualifications.
You never know when lifesaving action will be needed, whether you’re out in the bush with Scouts or in your local community.
First Aid Courses are available through Scouts Training and Development. These include Provide CPR, Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, Provide First Aid, Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting and Provide First Aid in Remote Situations.
The Victorian Scouts First Aid Service may conduct supplementary courses for
- Asthma Management, and
- Anaphylactic Management
Dates and times will be advertised on the website and will depend on levels of interest.
