Ceremony

Registration from 9:30am - 10:30am
Awardees will need to be seated by 10:45am
Ceremony starts at 11am and will conclude at approximately 1pm

Enjoy Gilwell
Feel free to invite your family and friends to watch the ceremony. If you wish, you may bring a picnic lunch to eat after the presentation. A Sausage sizzle and refreshments will be available for a small cost.

Weather
If due to extreme conditions the event is altered a decision will be made by 5pm on Friday, September 13. Updated notifications will be here. Information will also be messaged to the number provided by you upon your online registration.

Dress
Leaders, Honorary Commissioners or Australian Scout Fellowship – Please wear your full Scout uniform, including appropriate dress trousers. Jeans and sneakers are not appropriate.

Supporters or Office Bearers - please wear suitable attire. You may wear your Group Scarf if appropriate.

Please ensure you have the appropriate SunSmart or WinterSmart clothing as the ceremony is outdoors.

Attendance
It is essential that you confirm your attendance or absence before Sunday, September 1 by registering here using your membership number.

Non-Attendance
If you are unable to attend the September 15 ceremony, the award will be made available to your District Commissioner or LIC of your Formation for presentation at a suitable time. Awards will not be mailed directly to the awardee.

If you have confirmed your attendance and find on the morning of the ceremony that you cannot attend, please phone 0414 985 245 and leave a message.

A professional photographer will be present at the Awards Ceremony. Each awardee will have a portrait shot taken and a photograph receiving their award. These photographs will be emailed after the presentation.
