Travel

Can we travel interstate to attend Scouting?

A travel permit is no longer required for entering or returning into Victoria.

You can travel interstate if permitted by the state you are visiting and Victorian domestic travel restrictions, but unless you are travelling within the Border Community, you must contact coronavirus@scoutsvictoria.com.au in advance. There is a significant risk that groups travelling interstate could be caught up in possible future border closures.

This requirement is in addition to any other Branch notifications that are required.

What are the restrictions for the Border Community?

There are no longer any permit requirements for entering Victoria within a Border Community.

Scouts Victoria members who reside in NSW can undertake Scouting in NSW in compliance with NSW State restrictions.
