Christmas Trees and Fundraising

Will we be able to sell Christmas Trees this year?

Yes,  Christmas trees can be sold from halls (or hall grounds) from November 23. There are some limitations that are still be in place:

  • Physical distancing between members and public
  • Gathering limits within property equivalent to 1 person per 2 sqm
  • Personal hygiene requirements such as hand washing / sanitiser
  • Hall lessors (such as local councils) may not permit the opening of (or access to) halls to sell Christmas trees
  • Collection of Christmas trees from suppliers may be restricted due to COVID requirements
  • Contactless payment options should be made available
  • Record keeping for those working or volunteering at the Christmas tree sale. Record keeping is not required for customers at a retail location.
