There is a significant risk that groups travelling interstate could be caught up in border closures.
Interstate travel includes travelling across the border into any State where a permit is required to return to Victoria, including South Australia and disembarking on the NSW side of the Murray River.
This requirement is in addition to any other notifications that are required.
These directions do not apply to members and/or Groups in the NSW-Victorian Border Community who are undertaking activities within the NSW-Victorian Border Community area. But it does apply to members and/or Groups in the NSW-Victorian Border Community who are travelling further interstate.
Yes, but extra COVIDSafe controls should be in place, similar to public transport.
Do not travel if you are sick or showing any symptoms however mild, stay at home and get tested
Hand washing / hand sanitiser before and after
Clean, and disinfect if possible, frequently touched points before and after the trip, e.g. door handles, window controls, seat belt clips, grab handles, hand rests, seat adjusters, etc.
Keep a record of who goes in which bus
Face masks are required if travelling by bus or on public transport, unless an exemption applies
