ScoutSki | Sunday 13th - Thursday 17th July | Mt Baw Baw
Scouts from across Victoria will come together for 4 days of snow activities and fun.
Activities will include snowball fights, snow man building competition, igloo building,
snow shoeing, cross country skiing and downhill skiing or snowboarding.
This year, patrols with be supported by Venturer Mentors and Senior Scouts.
The mentors will take a lead in the running of activities, enabling the Venturer’s to work towards Alpine OAS 5, while getting loads of free time for skiing and fun.

WF Waters Venturer Weekend | Friday 25th – Sunday 27th July | Mt Baw Baw
The Alpine Team, in conjunction with the WF Waters Rover Crew will be running 2 days of
downhill skiing or snowboarding to facilitate OAS 4 downhill / snowboarding signoffs.

Leader Training - Cross-Country Skiing / Snowshoeing & Snow Camping
| Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd August | Mt Stirling
There are two training streams on offer, Safe Participant Cross-country Skiing,
with the option to complete Trained Participant with further bookwork.
Also on offer is Safe Participant Snowshoeing which includes an
introduction to snow camping workshop.

Rover Cross Country Weekend | Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd August | Mt Stirling
Grab some members from your crew or come along and join other snow
enthusiasts for a weekend of cross-country skiing, split boarding or
snowshoeing and snow camping while being supported by Alpine Guides.

Iglute | Friday 15th - Sunday 17th August | Mt Stirling
The long-standing IGLUTE introductory snow-camping weekend enables Venturers
and linking Scouts to learn basic snow craft skills, snow camping and to try
cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on Mt Stirling’s trails. The weekend includes
workshops, training sessions and trips to the summit.

Leader Training - Alpine | Friday 29th – Sunday 31st August | Mt Baw Baw
This course teaches basic alpine skills and downhill skiing / snowboarding
knowledge, to enable you to confidently take your unit into a resort for alpine
activities. After the completing the weekend, to achieve Trained
Participant – Alpine, involves planning an alpine activity for your youth or unit.
