Landcare Badge
To be eligible for a Landcare Badge, Scouts can take part in any three nationally accredited environment events either supported or run by Landcare Australia. Events include Landcare Week, Coastcare Week, Planet Ark’s Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful Week, Clean Up Australia Day and BirdLife Australia’s Aussie Backyard Bird Count. Alternatively, many Scouts are already members of a Landcare group. All these members need to do is provide evidence of their regular volunteer work. Whichever option you choose, you need a total of 10 hours service within a 12 month period. More information is available at the Junior Landcare website. |
