Container Saver Challenge

We are excited to announce the Container Saver Challenge, a collaboration between Scouts Victoria and CDSVic!

This is your chance to rally your Scout Group, make a positive impact on the environment, be in the running to win a fantastic prize AND fundraise.

What’s the Challenge?
From October 1 to November 30, Scout Groups across Victoria are invited to participate in the Container Saver Challenge.

Collect as many eligible containers as you can and return them to a CDS return point using your Group’s Donation Partner ID. The top three Groups in the State with the highest returns will win outdoor adventure retail vouchers for your Group:

• 1st Place: $2,500 worth of vouchers
• 2nd Place: $1,500 worth of vouchers
• 3rd Place: $750 worth of vouchers

Plus, every participating member will receive the exclusive ‘Container Saver’ Badge!

How to Get Involved
Register your Group’s Donation Partner ID
Every Scout Group has a unique Donation Partner ID. 's Donation Partner ID is . 

However, before starts collecting and returning containers, you must register your Donation Partner ID with your respective Zone Operator if you haven't already. This ensures that all your collections are correctly tracked and recorded. Click on your zone for easy to follow instructions to register your Group's Donation Partner ID.

CDS Vic West

Collect Containers
Gather eligible bottles and cans within your community and encourage families and friends to contribute. The more you collect, the closer you are to winning!

Return Containers
Bring the collected containers to your nearest CDS Vic Refund Point. Make sure to provide your Group’s Donation Partner ID during each return to ensure your Group’s collections are correctly recorded.

Track and Win
CDS Vic will track your returns, and we will provide regular updates on how your Group is progressing in the competition. Winners will be announced in mid-December!
