Get Active Kids Voucher Program
We’re excited to announce that Round 7 applications for the Get Active Kids Voucher Program are now open!
Rounds 1 - 6 saw over 4,000 youth members access funds to support their Scouting journeys.
In this round, applications for a voucher or a reimbursement will close when the allocation has been exhausted.
Scouts Victoria is an eligible Get Active Kids Provider
All of our Groups will participate under the single Scouts Victoria ABN and we will be registered as Scouts Victoria and you must use our Get Active Kids Provider code 2996540 when submitting your application. Please share this information with your families. You can also download our social tile here to post on your social media pages.
You will be able to accept vouchers of up to $200 to support families facing financial barriers to pay for memberships and participation costs. This generally means that the youth member will be named on an Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.
There are two ways to get funding for Round 7.
1. GET REIMBURSED
If your families have already paid registration fees they can apply to be reimbursed for up to $200. Applications for reimbursement
Reimbursements are open for eligible expenses that have been incurred from May 8 2023 and until allocation is exhausted.
2. APPLY FOR A VOUCHER
This form is only to be filled out by Group Leaders. Parents, please supply your Get Active Kids Voucher to your Group Leader.
Get Active Kids Voucher Code Submission
Eligible families can apply for a voucher of up to $200 which will have a unique voucher code. This will mean that they provide you the Group with a voucher code in lieu of paying up to $200 in fees.
Parents will need to nominate Scouts Victoria as their Get Active Kids Provider when applying for the voucher. The Scouts Victoria provider code is 2996540. They should then provide the voucher code emailed to them after submitting their application beginning with G6-2996540 to their Group Leader.
This voucher code needs to be submitted to us here so that Scouts Victoria can claim the $200 and forward it to your Group's account when it’s received. It’s a little more complicated for us all this time but it means that parents do not need to have money up front like in previous years.
Vouchers issued in Round 7 must be redeemed before Tuesday, April 20, 2024.
The key for parents is to make sure that their Health Care Card is current and that dependants are listed on the cards.
