Introducing Program Navigator
Program Navigator is your go-to search tool for discovering activity ideas tailored to your Unit, Patrol, or Group. Whether you're planning an exciting Section night or crafting engaging Patrol activities, Program Navigator has everything you need to make Scouting fun and inspiring.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- The FUNdamentals: A series of fun, easy-to-run Scouting activities designed to bring energy and excitement to your program.
- Adventure for All: Adventurous activities with step-by-step guides to help you run them safely and successfully.
- Program Activities: Creative and diverse activity ideas to spark inspiration for your Patrol or Unit and bring fresh energy to your program.
How it works
Program Navigator is designed with Unit Councils in mind. Whether you’re mapping out a full term or looking for a quick idea to fill a Section night, this tool provides resources to suit every need.
You can search activities based on:
- Location: Find activities perfect for the hall, outdoors, indoors, or on camp.
- Time Available: Filter by how much time you have.
- SIA or OAS Goals: Search by Special Interest Area inclusion or Outdoor Adventure Skills.
- Section: Tailored activities for every Section, with options to increase the challenge for older youth members.
Many activities also include a “Level Up” feature to add a more advanced twist for Venturers or Rovers, ensuring everyone is engaged and challenged.
Submit Your Activity
Have you run a great activity with your Section? We’d love to share it. Leaders are encouraged to contribute activities they have delivered so other Groups across Victoria can learn from them and bring fresh ideas to their program.
Download the Program Navigator Activity Submission Form, complete the details about the activity you’ve run, and submit it to marketing@scoutsvictoria.com.au for review. Once approved, your activity may be added to the Program Navigator to inspire Scouts across the state.
