Urban Walks for Joeys
Urban Explorers: Walking Safely Beyond the Hall
This activity helps Joey Scouts safely explore their local area through short urban walks. Joeys practise walking together as a group, using the buddy system, following simple rules, and noticing interesting places in their community. Urban walks are a great way to build confidence, introduce basic bushwalking skills, and get outside during a normal Joey night or a daytime activity.
