Clifford Park Bushwalking
There are heaps of locations in and around Clifford Park for youth members to complete their Bushwalking Stages 1-4. For more information about requirements for Bushwalking, visit Scouts|Terrain.
Stage 1
At this stage, youth members only needs to complete an hour-long walk.
You can use this document to help plan you walk.
There a two options that would fulfill Stage 1. Either a walk around the boundary of the park, or the Scout Track via Market Garden Track.
Stage 2
At this stage, youth members must complete 10km in total.
You can use this document to help plan you walk.
Walking around the boundary of the park would fulfill part of the walking required. Another option or addition is the Mount Lofty Loop.
Stage 3
At this stage, youth members need to complete at least one six hour walk. As well as run a small navigational activity for their fellow Scouts.

Walking option include the Scout Track via Market Garden Track, or Mount Lofty Loop.
Clifford Park has two orienteering courses, for a navigational activity. Talk to the ranger for more information.
Stage 4
In this stage, youth members must complete and overnight hike, carrying all their gear. The youth members are expected to complete two full days of walking, with six hours of activity each day.
You can use this document to help plan you walk.
You may be able to use part of the Scout Track via Market Garden Track map. With an overnight stay at Clifford Park. The mapping in this area is not the greatest so careful planning will be required as some walks may require you to walk along busy roads to connect with walking tracks.
Another option is Homestead Rd (canoe Launch) to Clifford Park. The next day through the Jumping Creek or Warrandyte township.
