Another successful Mudbash!
Victorian Rovers and the Mudbash team have had another successful Mudbash! This year marks 25 years of Mudbash at Mafeking Rover Park while we also celebrate 100 years of Rovers. The weekend drew Crews and racing teams from across the Country and New Zealand, attracting 900 campers, swelling to 1400 on Open Day, making it the biggest Mudbash event in recent years.
2018 saw the introduction of the 'Mudbash Championships' in order to determine the ULTIMATE racing crew, a title that was won by Harrison Rover Crew, who beat 32 other teams. Rover X Games was also launched, a Crew-based pentathlon competition run between two of Victoria's biggest Rover events, Mudbash and Surfmoot. Amaroo Rover Crew became the event's inaugural overall winner!
Non-racers were not forgotten either, with activities including bubble soccer, abseiling, car demolition, a jumping castle, commando course, BMX bikes and archery. Plus incredible entertainment from electric duo, Slice n' Dice and of course, crowd favourite, Shannon Noll!
Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to make Mudbash 2018 such a roaring success - we can’t wait for next year!
