Help us share the stories of our youth members
April 13-22 marks Victoria’s inaugural Youth Week, an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements of young people in Victoria.
To help us do that, we want to know about some of the incredible young people in our Scouting community. We’re going to highlight an incredible young Victorian every day on our Facebook page from April 13-22 – but we need your help!
If you’ve got a young person (under the age of 26) in your Section or Group that’s doing amazing things – perhaps running events, managing projects, promoting Scouting, or helping others in their community – send us 150 words on what makes them amazing, with a photo (or a short video of them in action) to acc.youth@scoutsvictoria.com.au (make sure they’re happy to have their photo on our Facebook page first). We’ll be accepting nominations up until April 19, but the sooner you get it in the better, as we’ll be rolling them out from April 13.
We’ll be picking one person per day to feature, and want to highlight the wide range of things our members get up to.
