Sod turning at Caroline Springs
Today was the official turning of the first sod for the Caroline Springs Scout Hall which sees Melton Council and the Victorian Government invest in a brand new facility for one of our largest Groups that is still growing.
It was exciting to see so many youth members, families and politicians in attendance to celebrate the start of the build. We can’t wait until the opening!
Thank you to the Aboriginal Land Council for allowing Scouts Victoria to have a Scout Hall on this significant site, we will be ensuring that our youth understand and care for this land. We also commit to ensuring that they will hear from and learn about the traditional owners. The significance of this site and the history of these lands will be passed on to all who use this facility.
