Bogong Rover Chalet

 

The Bogong Rover Chalet is situated in the Alpine National Park, 11kms from Falls Creek. This is not accessible by road so you must ski this distance with loaded rucksacks. From June to September, 13 winter weeks are run including, Snow Ventures exclusively for Venturers & their leaders, Rover Ski Moots, and the remaining weeks are open to the public. During these weeks, there are opportunities for ski touring on the surrounding Bogong High Plains, downhill skiing and snowboarding on our ‘home slope’ using our own ski tow, and snow play. Chores are shared on a rotation between duty groups, during your free time you can enjoy the pool table, the board games and books, musical instruments, and traditional chalet games.
