Mt Baw Baw

For down hill skiing and snowboarding all areas opened on the day by the alpine resort are Within Resort Boundaries. Leaders only need Certificate of Proficiency (Including Scouting Adventure) and must be in direct supervision of youth members at all time. Approval is required only by group leader. 

For cross country and snow shoeing the following areas and trails Have been assessed as part of the resort boundary. Leaders only need Certificate of Proficiency (Including Scouting Adventure) and must be in direct supervision of youth members at all time. Approval is required only by group leader. 

Trails in resort boundary are summit trail, village trail, la Trobe tail, Muellers trail (snow shoe) and Nordic bowl

past the "5 ways intersection" leaders need Trained participant (cross country skiing patrolled) or Trained participant (snow shoe snow shoe day tour). 

Guide lead or state leader approval is needed to lead ski/snowshoe from Mt Bawbaw to Mt Erica scout hut for overnight activity (30km one way)
