Mt Stirling

The following areas and trails have been assessed as part of the resort boundary. Leaders only need Certificate of Proficiency (Including Scouting Adventure) and must be in direct supervision of youth members at all time. Approval is required only by Group Leader. 

The area mark by green shading is resort boundary, for other areas of map leaders need Trained Participant (Cross Country Skiing Patrolled) or Trained Participant (Snow Shoe Day Tour).

Overnight trips to Razerback Hut and King Saddle Shelter will need Trained Participant only (Ski/Snowshoe) as the hut location is below the alpine snow line and ski guide level is not needed.

Trails in resort boundary are Circuit Road from TBJ to King Saddle Shelter and the two practice areas are Sign Post 2 and 13.

The ski patrol requires all groups to fill out a trip intention form available at the from of the ski patrol base.
