Program Support
The Scout Cycling Team helps groups and sections to incorporate cycling activities as a part of their regular program. This is through Leader training and providing resources to assist in planning and running activities.
Training
Trained Participants-Cycling through RoP
Many leaders have previous experience in running cycling activities withing Scouting, through schools or as an outside interest. The Scout Cycling Team can assist leaders in filling knowledge gaps and getting these existing skills recognised as a Trained Participant-Cycling qualification. The RoP process involves completing workbooks, providing evidence of skills through logbooks and other methods and completing other tasks. This can often be completed when planning and running a term cycling program within their unit.
