Program Essentials - Overview

In Cub Scouts, you will complete some of the Program Essentials by coming to Cub Scout nights and by doing the Cub Scout program. The program is the activities you do at Cub Scouts.

The Program Essentials are your core experience in Scouting:

• Introduction to Scouting (if not completed in an earlier Section)
• Introduction to Section (completed at the start of each new Section during the transition phase)
• Milestones 

The Program Essentials have been designed to be completed through attendance and active participation. They are the regular Scouting program, and should not be treated as stand-alone items.

Self-reflection is a key part of the Program Essentials as Cubs stop to think about how they have developed along the journey.
