Landcare
Introduction
The Landcare Award encourages youth members to get involved in environmental activities in the local community with their local Landcare group.
This award is able to be completed in each section throughout a youth member’s Scouting journey.
It is a youth member only award.

On the right sleeve, as a specialist badge.

Requirements
Joey Scouts
Participate in any three Landcare Australia events (e.g. Landcare Week, Planet Ark’s Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful and Clean Up Australia Day)
OR
If you are a member of a Landcare group, show your Unit evidence of your membership and regular attendance as a Landcare volunteer.
At least 10 hours must be spent participating in the above requirements in total. This 10 hours must be completed within a 12 month period.
Cub Scouts
Participate in any three Landcare Australia events (e.g. Landcare Week, Planet Ark’s Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful and Clean Up Australia Day)
OR
If you are a member of a Landcare group, show your Unit evidence of your membership and regular attendance as a Landcare volunteer.
At least 10 hours must be spent participating in the above requirements in total. This 10 hours must be completed within a 12 month period.
Scouts
