Mental Health

Introduction

Any member of Scouting (youth or adult) may wear the Mental Health first aid badge on their uniform if they have successfully completed and been assessed as competent in an industry recognised mental health first aid course. This course must be delivered by an approved mental health first aid provider.

This is a badge that can be worn by both youth and adult members.

Uniform Location

On the right sleeve as a specialist badge.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an approved, industry recognised, mental health first aid course.

Hints & Tips

Some Branches run accredited mental health first aid training and youth mental health first aid training.
