Welcome to Scouting
Whether you are a brand new Leader, a youth member, or a former Leader coming back into the movement, Scouts Victoria can provide you with the training required to provide adventurous, fun, challenging, and inclusive programs for all our members.
The impact that our program can have for young people is well known but only when we have Leaders who are trained.
In his letter New Leader Training Information, Rod Byrnes Chief Commissioner, highlights important aspects of the training that new Leaders will complete in the next 12 months.
All new Leaders are encouraged to read Rod's letter and openly discuss any challenges in their role or the Wood Badge program with their Group Leader.
Training in your leadership role consists of a mixture of On Demand Modules, On The Job checklists and weekend training courses.

Youth members can also access the online training and participate in some training courses, especially in the activity areas.
All our courses can be directly recognised to gain industry qualifications in Business and Outdoor Recreation.
