Eumeralla Bushwalking

There are heaps of locations around Eumeralla for youth members to complete their Bushwalking Stages 1-4. For more information about requirements for Bushwalking, visit Scouts|Terrain.

Stage 1

At this stage, youth members only needs to complete an hour-long walk.

Stage 2

At this stage, youth members must complete 10km in total.

Stage 3

At this stage, youth members need to complete at least one six hour walk. As well as run a small navigational activity for their fellow Scouts.

Stage 4

In this stage, youth members must complete and overnight hike, carrying all their gear. The youth members are expected to complete two full days of walking, with six hours of activity each day.

Find information about walks around Eumeralla here. For an overnight option, start at some point before Eumeralla, camp the night and walk to Anglesea. These walks will require a car shuttle.

The Surf Coast walk can be broken up into short walks to suit the needs of the youth members progression in their Bushwalking Stages.
