Scouts Victoria to work with Port Phillip EcoCentre
On Tuesday night, 1st/14th Brighton were joined by Martin Foley MP, Cr Bernadene Voss, Mayor of the City of Port Phillip, Bay Keeper Neil Blake and members of the local community at the Port Phillip EcoCentre. Our Groups will survey the levels of litter and pollution entering Port Phillip Bay and deliver a community awareness campaign. The State Government have allocated almost $100,000 for this effort which will help inform Government around waterways management. Youth leading with adults and the Government supporting - that's a great story!
