Radio Active Scout
Radio Active Scout is a national JOTA team initiative to provide Scouting radio activities to youth members of all ages using the hands-on Scouting experience. Any radio activity falls under the Radio Active Scout banner – as long as it involves Radio technologies, active youth engagement or physical movement, and is delivered in the best of Scouting traditions and methodologies designed to engage curious minds and involvement.
Radio Active Scout can be done in your own hall, and can easily be facilitated by youth members, adults, or radio operators alike. Radio and technology programs are for everyone, and the Radio Active Scout program makes them more accessible than they have ever been. Whether you have lots or a little experience in Radio and Electronics, there is a program available at your skill level to help you explore the curious world of communications with others.
