World Scout Day
Today, Scouts all around the world are celebrating the Movement that connects us.
As we proudly wear our scarves today, it's more than just a symbol of belonging. It’s a chance to reflect on everything Scouting has given us: adventure, growth, leadership, resilience, and lifelong friendships. It’s a moment to remember the skills we’ve learned, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the communities we’ve helped to shape.
World Scout Day is also about looking forward. Every time you step up as a Leader, try something new, welcome someone into your Group, or support a Scout, you're contributing to the strength and future of the Movement. No matter your role, Joey Scout, Cub Scout, Scout, Venturer Scout, Rover Scout, Leader or Volunteer, you are part of something bigger than yourself.
By wearing your scarf at school, at work, or out in the community, you’re showing the world what Scouting stands for. You’re reminding others that Scouts are everywhere, in every city, school, workplace, quietly making a difference.
So whatever you're doing today, do it with pride. Share your Scouting story, talk about what it means to you, and celebrate.
Let’s make sure everyone knows what it truly means to #BeAScout.
