Scouts Go Solar Challenge
Introduction
The Scouts Go Solar Challenge is part of the WOSM Earth Tribe program. It is a partnership between WOSM and Solafrica and directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy and Goal 13 – Climate Action.
Youth members undertaking the Scouts Go Solar Challenge will develop their knowledge and skills to innovate for solar solutions to help protect the climate.

On the right sleeve as part of the Better World Framework badges.
Requirements
Utilising the Scouts Go Solar Action Kit (page 15), complete the following:
Complete all of the following activities:
- Joey Scouts - Level 1 activities
- Cub Scouts - Level 1 activities
- Scouts - Level 2 activities
- Venturer Scouts - Level 3 activities
- Rover Scouts - Level 3 activities
OR
- Younger sections may consider a Solar Introduction Workshop (with up to eight, 15 minute activities completed in a circuit) as featured on page 46 of the Solar Energy Handbook.
