Tide Turners Plastic Challenge
Introduction
The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge is part of the WOSM Earth Tribe program. It is a partnership between WOSM and the UN environment program and directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, Goal 13 – Climate Action, Goal 14 – Life Below Water and Goal 15 – Life On Land.
Youth members undertaking the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge will develop their knowledge and skills to help fight plastic pollution and make the overall environment healthier by understanding the effects of plastic consumption on the world.

Requirements
Utilising the Tide Turns Plastic Challenge Action Kit complete the following:
- Self-assessment
- Plastic audit quiz
- Get hands on
Section Requirement
- Joey Scouts - At least 5 activities of 15-20 minutes each
- Cub Scouts - At least 5 activities of 15-20 minutes each
- Scouts - At least 4 activities of 20-40 minutes each
- Venturers - At least 4 activities of 20-40 minutes each
- Rovers - At least 4 activities of 20-40 minutes each

Section Requirement
- Joey Scouts - A minimum of 30 minutes
- Cub Scouts - A minimum of 30 minutes
- Scouts - A minimum of 2-4 hours
- Venturer - A minimum of 2-4 hours
- Rover - A minimum of 2-4 hours
