Congratulations to the Queen's Scout and Baden-Powell Awardees

A beautiful day at Gilwell
Finally, after a false start or two, we were able to hold our Queen's Scout, Baden-Powell and Adult Recognition Award Ceremonies at Gilwell on Saturday. It was a magnificent day with glorious sunshine - a perfect day to spend with 100’s of my closest Scouting friends!

In the morning, I was joined by Lord Michael Baden-Powell to present 60 Venturers with their Queen's Scout and nine Rovers their Baden-Powell Awards. In the afternoon, we presented Adult Recognition Awards to over 88 very deserving Leaders and supporters. Check out the inspirational message from The Honourable Linda Dessau to all our awardees.

It’s been a long wait for these wonderful people and I appreciate their patience.
