The Scouts Victoria State Alpine Team is excited to announce second ScoutSki
Scouts from across Victoria will travel together to the amazing alpine ski village of Mt BawBaw for four days of snow and alpine activities.
Based out of both the Scouts Victoria Alpine Adventure Centre and WF Waters Rover Ski Lodge, Scouts will get a chance to experience a unique Scouting experience not available anywhere else in Australia.
Activities include:
- Snowball fights and snowman building competition,
- Alpine survival skills including snow shelter and igloo building,
- Snow shoeing,
- Cross country skiing
- 2 days downhill skiing or boarding (including lesson
- from professional instructors).
All Scouts will be able to sign off alpine level 4 in their OAS.
No previous skills or experience required, ScoutSki will provide a challenge experience from beginner all the way to advanced skill sets!
No special equipment required. All ski or board gear will be provided or hired on mountain
Cost is $660 this covers all food, transport, accommodation, and activities.
