Alpine school 2023

5 August - 12 August @ Bogong Rover lodge

This intensive alpine training event will provide Rover Scouts and Leaders with an opportunity to learn, develop, and demonstrate their skills in leading day ski tours and snowshoeing trips. The School is designed to focus on the practical skills that Snowcraft Leaders need to take youth members into snow.

Trained Participant

Alpine team is running a Cross Country Skiing Trained Participant course for Leaders, Rovers and Venturers keen to gain new skills in cross country skiing and safe alpine travel. There will be a pre-training zoom evening. You will be responsible for you own cost for resort entry and ski hire. Venturers and Rovers wishing to gain O.A.S levels will be signed off on stage 1,2,3 Alpine and part of stage 4 Cross country skiing.
