Alpine Training

This year 2024 the alpine team will be running one weekend on the 2-4 August 2024.

We hope to set up training patrols in the following areas

O.A.S. alpine - cross country  for ventures and rovers

Trained participant - cross country day - for leaders, rovers and ventures

Trained participant -  Bushwalking Extremely Difficult Tracked & Untracked Environments. (This is 1 weekend of 3 weekends needed to complete this trained participant course and is run by the bushwalking team)

WE will be based out of the scout hall in Mansfield and skiing at Mt Stirling

 There will be a pre-training zoom evening. You will be responsible for you own cost for resort entry and ski hire. Venturers and Rovers wishing to gain O.A.S levels will be signed off on stage 1,2,3 Alpine and part of stage 4 Cross country skiing.
