Have your Unit Council included any STEM activities in the program for Term 3?
Why not join Scouts from all around Australia for our National Science Week program in August. We have some fantastic Science of Outdoors activities ready for you to run with your unit, using resources you can source easily and at a low cost from your local supermarket, hardware store and Scout hall. Instructions sheets and videos available now on the STEM program resources page.
We are also offering you the opportunity to select youth members from your Unit to attend a training session so that they can learn everything they need to know to be the Leads and Assists for these Science Week activities back in your own Unit.
Find a suitable session date, time and location from the list below and encourage your youth members to register soon so they don’t miss out. Cost for the training sessions is $5 per youth member. Leaders may register for free if they wish to attend to support youth members from their unit.
