Joey Scouts Hop Into Cuboree

Joey Scouts Hop Into Cuboree is a great opportunity for Joey Scouts to experience the excitement and adventure that is Cuboree. This is a single day event that allows Joey Scouts to see Cub Scouts in their natural environment - having fun and camping at Cuboree in Gilwell Park, Gembrook.
The Hop Into Cuboree day will be on Wednesday September 30.
Joey Scout Patrols and their Leaders will meet at one of these two locations:
- Gembrook Football Ground
- Pakenham Railway Station
and will then be transported by Shuttle Bus to and from Gilwell Park, where they will spend the day exploring the Cuboree site, and have fun at some of the activities around Gilwell Park.
Schedule:
- 9.30am – All youth members and Leaders/Registered Adults need to be at either Gembrook Football Ground or Pakenham Railway Station, ready to jump on the Cuboree shuttle bus. Attendees will be marked off the attendance lists and given wristbands.
- 10.30am – The shuttle buses arrive at Gilwell Park, and Joey Scout Patrols will be split into two teams. Each team will head to one of two activity bases especially designed for the Joey Scouts.
- 12pm - Lunch for all Joey Scouts (bring your own lunch).
- 1pm – Teams will swap and attend the other activity base.
- 2.30pm – All Patrols will meet back at the meeting point.
- 3pm – Patrols board the shuttle buses to return to their same starting point (Gembrook Football Ground or Pakenham Railway Station) to meet parents to come home.
Registration is open to the Joey Scouts only, and each Patrol must be accompanied by Leaders or adults registered with Scouts Victoria (Adult Contributors or Adult Supporters).
Cost is $21 for each participant (Joey Scouts and Leaders/parents) which includes a badge, shuttle bus and activities.
Joey Scouts and Adults will need to organise their own transport to Gembrook or Pakenham, and bring their own lunch, water bottle and snacks on the day.
