Venturergram

The third monthly Venturergram is about to be distributed, so by now you should all be aware of this format for the VVC to share information about Venturer activities and events around Victoria. The distribution is to any and every member, youth or adult, who has 'VENTURER' in their role description, and it goes to the email address in Extranet. If you know of it but are not receiving it, please modify your email address in Extranet. This newsletter is compiled by the youth members of the Communication Patrol of the VVC and contains the most up to date information available.

80 Years of Venturing Special Event

On 1st August, Venturers will celebrate 80 years since its inception. We are encouraging every Venturer Unit in Victoria to participate in a public event on this day. More information will be circulated in the Venturergram.

2026 Personal Development Courses
We’re building our schedule of Personal Development Courses for 2026. Four are confirmed and several more are in the planning stage, including a course tentatively located in Castlemaine which we expect will be accessible to our Loddon-Mallee and Northern Region Venturers.

VAM - Venturer Activity Meetup

Venturer Activity Meetups (VAMs) remain a significant component of the Venturer program. They provide an opportunity for fun activities done as a district or zone where larger group sizes can contribute to a more worthwhile event.

They also are a great way to extend your network of Venturers, which can be especially useful when planning your Adventurous Journey or looking for suitable attendees at your Personal Reflection to achieve your King's Scout Award.

There is a prize awaiting for the best VAM, as adjudged by the VVC, so get it happening and send your photos and event details in.
