Facilities

What facilities are there?

For two weeks, AJ2025 will transform into one of Queensland’s bustling communities, equipped with facilities found in a regular town. The shopping centre offers snacks, souvenirs, camping gear, postal services, and more. Additionally, there are first aid stations, a medical centre with beds for overnight stays, and round-the-clock police and fire stations. A main arena will host major entertainment and ceremonies. Smaller venues and relaxation areas will cater to various activities, from chess to watching sports on TV. There’s always something to engage in! The AJ2025 radio station and daily newspaper will keep you informed and entertained.

What about toilets? Showers?

Toilet and shower facilities, equipped with sanitary bins, are available in each sub-camp for both Scouts and adults. These facilities are strategically located near all campsites. Though they are cleaned regularly, everyone is expected to treat them responsibly.

Can I wash my clothes?

Absolutely. Hand-washing is integral to the Jamboree experience. Units will have buckets and detergent available.
